RN – Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry – Full-Time Night

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our acute care cardiac telemetry unit working full-time night shifts in Sandy Plains, Fulton County. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with complex cardiac conditions while delivering evidence-based nursing care in a supportive clinical environment.

About the Role

As an RN in our acute care cardiac telemetry department, you'll provide direct patient care during overnight shifts, monitoring and supporting individuals admitted with cardiac and cardiovascular conditions. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will be central to helping our patients achieve optimal health outcomes during their hospitalization.

What You'll Do

• Monitor patients continuously via cardiac telemetry, recognizing and responding appropriately to rhythm changes and clinical deterioration
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments under physician order, maintaining accurate records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain safe patient environments and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Respond promptly to patient calls and clinical needs throughout night shifts
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and optimal unit operations

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered Georgia RN license
• Clinical experience in acute care nursing, preferably with cardiac or telemetry experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiac assessment, monitoring, and emergency response
• Ability to work full-time night shifts with flexibility and reliability
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
• Compassionate communication style with patients and families
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
• Physical capability to meet the demands of acute care nursing
