Registered Nurse (RN) – 4W Acute Care Trauma – Augusta – FT

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4W Acute Care Trauma unit in Augusta, Georgia. If you're a skilled clinician passionate about delivering compassionate care in a dynamic, high-acuity setting, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll join our acute care trauma nursing team, providing direct bedside care to patients with critical injuries and acute illnesses. This full-time RN position offers the opportunity to practice at the highest level of clinical expertise while working alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to excellent patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and health status throughout shifts
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with physicians and care team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures within nursing scope of practice
• Maintain detailed, accurate nursing documentation and medical records
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the healthcare team
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families navigating critical illness and injury
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain safe, therapeutic patient care environments

What We're Looking For

• Current Georgia-issued Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Active BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Experience working effectively in high-acuity, demanding healthcare settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and professional standards
• Acute care or trauma nursing experience highly valued
