Join PATH as a full-time Maintenance Specialist in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, and help keep the spaces that support our mission safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we serve.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Specialist (West Carson, Req. 5702) based on-site in Los Angeles, you'll play a hands-on part in advancing PATH's work to help people experiencing homelessness move into stable housing. This is a values-driven position where your day-to-day efforts directly contribute to a larger purpose: on average, PATH helps 23 people each week find a place to live, and well-maintained facilities are part of making that possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, upkeep, and minor repairs across PATH's West Carson facilities and properties.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to keep spaces safe, clean, and fully operational.
- Support a comfortable, dignified environment for residents, staff, and program participants.
- Help maintain the physical conditions that allow PATH's housing and outreach programs to run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Practical, hands-on maintenance or facilities experience.
- Reliability and the ability to manage tasks independently on-site in Los Angeles (this is not a remote role).
- A genuine commitment to PATH's mission and to advancing racial and social justice.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to meaningful, community-focused work.
