About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential gaming technology organization based in Hamburg seeking a motivated apprentice to join their Office IT and System Administration team. This is a three-year vocational training program (Ausbildung) beginning in August 2027, designed for school leavers who want to build a solid foundation in IT support, workplace administration, and system integration.

Through our talent team at Get A Job.ai, you'll be considered for a position where you'll learn how professional office IT operates: from setting up workstations and managing software deployments to supporting colleagues with technical issues and maintaining access rights. You'll work with modern tools in a service-oriented environment and gain exposure to both end-user support and the server infrastructure that powers digital products.

Responsibilities

During your apprenticeship, you will:

• Plan and provision employee workstations, including hardware configuration and setup
• Package, deploy, and manage software installations and license administration
• Support colleagues through ticketing systems, handling 1st and 2nd level support requests
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Document IT processes and contribute to standardization efforts
• Learn IT security practices relevant to daily workplace operations
• Gain exposure to system administration: Linux server management, network infrastructure, monitoring, backups, and automation through scripting
• Understand how workplace IT connects to broader technical infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Education: You will complete your Abitur or Fachhochschulreife with strong grades, particularly in mathematics, English, and ideally computer science
• Language: Minimum B2-level German proficiency (required for vocational school attendance); very good English skills for daily workplace communication
• Technical foundation: Some practical experience with Mac systems or basic network setup
• Hands-on approach: You enjoy troubleshooting, testing solutions, and persisting until systems work properly
• Initiative: Comfortable approaching colleagues and identifying technical issues behind user descriptions
• Interest in AI: You see artificial intelligence as an opportunity to shape future technology and are eager to apply early AI knowledge in real projects
• Service mindset: You find satisfaction in making IT work smoothly for others
