Fullstack Engineer – Mid Level – Actions Team

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential employee communications platform in their search for a Fullstack Engineer to join their core infrastructure team. You'll build the essential systems that power their plugin ecosystem, creating UI components, integration layers, and security mechanisms that enable customers to extend the platform with custom integrations while maintaining safety and flexibility across their enterprise customer base.

Your work will include:

• Building a UI component library that generated applications can assemble from, turning components like approval flows and data views into maintained, reusable pieces
• Creating the connection layer between generated apps and customer source systems—HR platforms, time-tracking systems, and various third-party vendors with inconsistent or undocumented APIs
• Defining extension points such as widgets, menus, and sidebars so plugins can declare where they surface and what they connect to through clean configuration
• Designing and implementing cross-integration authentication solutions that enable customers to run multiple integrations without forcing employees to log in repeatedly
• Shipping plugins on the platform yourself, staying a consumer of what you build to catch gaps early

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript for frontend development
• Backend experience with Java/Kotlin or Go and TypeScript
• Real-world experience integrating third-party APIs, especially challenging ones with inconsistent auth, partial documentation, or legacy systems
• Deep understanding of multi-tenancy security and data isolation; you care about scope checks and preventing cross-tenant leaks
• Good judgment about what to standardize versus what to leave flexible—drawing that line appropriately is central to this role

Nice to Have:

• Comfort with edge and serverless runtimes like Cloudflare Workers
• Prior experience building a plugin system, SDK, or developer platform
• Experience developing a design system or component library that other teams depended on
• Real-world experience with OAuth and enterprise SSO
• Experience treating AI code generation as a product surface, not just a personal tool
