About This Position

As Assistant Manager II, you'll be the backbone of our store's success. You'll work directly with the Store Manager to oversee all facets of daily operations, from team performance and inventory accuracy to customer satisfaction and sales targets. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-energy retail setting and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to support both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor store associates across all departments, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and facilities checks
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock rotations, and ensure accurate product placement and pricing
  • Support loss prevention initiatives and enforce company policies to protect assets
  • Train new associates on company standards, systems, and customer service expectations
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction
  • Assist with sales operations, including register management and transaction oversight
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on scheduling, staffing needs, and operational improvements

  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience in retail or customer-facing environments
