Role Overview
As a Learning Analytics Analyst-Associate at FedEx, you'll combine data analysis with a deep understanding of employee development to evaluate the effectiveness of our learning programs. Working within our People and Talent Development function, you'll gather, interpret, and present training metrics that inform strategic decisions about how we develop our workforce. This role bridges the gap between Learning & Development teams and business leadership, using evidence-based insights to optimize training investments and outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze learning management system data to track training participation, completion rates, and assessment performance
- Design and build reports and dashboards that visualize training metrics and program performance for stakeholders at all levels
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training priorities across business units
- Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives through surveys, focus groups, and performance correlation analysis
- Collaborate with L&D teams to define success metrics for new training programs and pilot initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in clear, visually compelling formats
- Maintain data quality and integrity across learning platforms and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, learning analytics, or organizational development
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms is a plus
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently
