APS6 OPA/OIA Software Engineer (Developer)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential government organization in Australia. We are seeking an experienced APS6 Software Engineer with specialized expertise in policy automation platforms and enterprise integration solutions.

This role requires Australian citizenship and current Baseline security clearance. Candidates must be residing in Australia at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop policy automation solutions using enterprise decision management platforms
• Write and maintain business rules within policy modeling development tools
• Implement connector frameworks, styling extensions, and API integrations
• Integrate policy automation systems with enterprise CRM platforms
• Elicit requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into detailed technical specifications
• Document technical solutions comprehensively for enterprise environments
• Apply various software development methodologies including waterfall and agile approaches

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Australian Citizen currently residing in Australia
• Current Baseline security clearance
• Proven experience developing solutions with Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA)
• Hands-on experience with OIA connector framework, styling extensions, and APIs
• Strong skills writing rules in Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool
• Demonstrated ability to document technical solutions in detail
• Experience gathering requirements from business owners and creating specifications
• Track record applying multiple software development methodologies

Highly Regarded:

• Architectural or business designer experience
• Integration experience with Siebel CRM systems
