Anaplan Support Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential UK fintech organization that is transforming how people interact with their finances. Our client is seeking an Anaplan Support Analyst to join their Finance & Anaplan Centre of Excellence team.

This role offers the opportunity to drive the success of a critical Anaplan platform while supporting a broader Centre of Excellence. You'll work directly with Lead Solutions Architects, Model Builders, and FP&A teams, serving as the operational engine that powers daily financial planning activities. Based in London or remote within the UK, you'll manage change requests, facilitate user training, and get hands-on with model building to enhance the financial planning ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Manage, triage, and deliver end-to-end change requests across Anaplan models to ensure seamless business operations
• Collaborate with Lead Solutions Architect and Model Builders to assist in building, testing, and implementing new functionalities and enhancements
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions and documentation to upskill end-users across FP&A and Finance Business Partner teams
• Maintain data integrity, manage user access, monitor model performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Support daily operations of the Anaplan platform and broader Centre of Excellence initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Anaplan expertise: Hands-on experience supporting and maintaining Anaplan workspaces/models (Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder certification or equivalent highly desirable)
• Change request management: Proven track record handling change requests, user support tickets, and system enhancements in a Centre of Excellence or support structure
• Model building skills: Functional understanding of Anaplan model architecture and formula building, with ability to assist in active model development
• Training experience: Strong communication and facilitation skills with passion for training and empowering non-technical users on Anaplan functionality
• Finance understanding: Solid foundational knowledge of financial modelling, FP&A principles, or finance workflows
• AI tooling familiarity: Experience with AI tools, including ability to write effective prompts and curiosity for how AI can improve processes
• Domain experience: Banking or financial services experience is beneficial but not essential; we welcome candidates from various industries

Pay
