AI Adoption Engineer (F/M/*)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization based in Köln that is transforming how European businesses leverage artificial intelligence. Our client is seeking an AI Adoption Engineer to ensure customers achieve maximum value from their business AI platform.

In this role, you'll bridge technical implementation with customer success, working directly with clients to identify use cases, configure AI solutions, and drive sustainable adoption of intelligent automation tools. You'll collaborate across engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams while translating real-world business requirements into practical AI applications.

This position is based in Köln with a hybrid working model (three days per week onsite). Please note: candidates must have current residency in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through onboarding and successful implementation of AI solutions, from initial deployment through long-term adoption
• Identify relevant business use cases with clients and develop concrete solutions tailored to their workflows
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular check-ins to demonstrate effective use of AI capabilities
• Provide user support, analyze implementation challenges, and develop solutions independently or with internal teams
• Configure search domains, prompts, agents, and platform features to match customer requirements
• Test new applications, create proofs of concept, and shepherd them into production use
• Gather customer feedback and translate it into clear requirements for product and engineering teams
• Develop use-case documentation, guides, best practices, and training materials
• Analyze platform usage data and implement measures to increase customer adoption and value realization
• Collaborate with sales and customer success on demos, client meetings, and expansion opportunities
• Monitor AI industry developments and contribute ideas for successful AI solution deployment

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
• Practical experience in software implementation, consulting, customer success, technical support, project management, or comparable role
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new software, APIs, and digital processes
• Interest in artificial intelligence, enterprise search, automation, and practical application of modern technologies
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable work approach with capacity to manage multiple customer engagements
• Enjoyment of facilitating workshops and conversations, asking questions, and developing solutions collaboratively
• Aptitude for understanding business processes and identifying where AI creates concrete value
• Fluent communication in both German and English; comfort in international environments
• Self-directed working style with curiosity and desire for professional development

Pay
