Adjunct Instructor – Photography (Pool)

Tennessee Board of Regents seeks a full-time Adjunct Instructor in Photography to deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in our photography program based in Nashville, Davidson County. This role offers the opportunity to shape emerging photographers through hands-on teaching across diverse learning formats.

About the Role

As an Adjunct Instructor - Photography with Tennessee Board of Regents, you'll be the creative force behind photography education, guiding students through technique, artistic vision, and technical mastery. This full-time position blends classroom instruction with collaborative curriculum work, ensuring every student receives equitable, consistent learning experiences regardless of delivery format.

What You'll Do

• Teach photography courses across on-ground, online, and hybrid learning environments as assigned
• Collaborate with course leads and program coordinators to maintain instructional consistency and quality
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to support artistic and technical development
• Develop and refine lesson plans aligned with program outcomes and learning objectives
• Maintain student records, attendance, and grade documentation
• Participate in program meetings and professional development activities

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Photography, Fine Arts, or related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in photography theory, techniques, and digital or analog methods
• Teaching experience or strong ability to communicate visual and technical concepts to diverse learners
• Proficiency with photography equipment and editing software
• Ability to teach effectively in multiple modalities, including in-person and online environments
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for working across educational teams
