Online Order Filling Team Associate

Join Walmart's fulfillment operations team as an Online Order Filling Team Associate in Valley Stream, Nassau County. In this full-time role, you'll be the backbone of our e-commerce success, ensuring that every online order is accurately picked, packed, and shipped to our customers on time.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you'll work alongside dedicated teammates in our order fulfillment center. You'll gain real warehouse experience, learn logistics systems, and play a direct role in customer satisfaction. Your work matters — every item you handle, check, and ship is part of delivering for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Pick items from inventory racks and shelves based on customer orders, using handheld devices and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy
• Pack orders carefully into boxes or containers with appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
• Perform quality checks to verify item accuracy, condition, and proper labeling before orders leave the facility
• Organize and maintain workspace efficiency while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and shipping deadlines
• Follow all health, safety, and security procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with clear performance expectations

Compensation

This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $18–$31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The actual rate meets or exceeds minimum wage requirements for the Valley Stream area. You'll also have the opportunity to earn additional compensation through performance incentives and, in certain circumstances, scheduled or facility-based premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
