Cardinal Equipment Services is hiring a full-time Accounting Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations at our Tampa, Hillsborough County headquarters. This is your chance to manage critical financial functions for a growing company while reporting directly to our General Manager.
About the Role
As Accounting Finance Manager, you'll own the financial heartbeat of the organization. This Finance department leadership position encompasses daily oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and the month-end closing cycle. You'll be the go-to financial leader ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information that drives business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Direct day-to-day accounting and finance operations across the company
- Manage and oversee the month-end close process and related financial reconciliations
- Prepare and produce periodic financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with other departments on financial matters
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the General Manager and executive leadership
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting management or supervisory experience
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end close procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
