About the Role

This locum tenens assignment at an Arizona facility focuses exclusively on cardiac and vascular anesthesia cases. You will work directly in the OR, providing 100% hands-on care throughout each case — no supervisory or oversight-only arrangements. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with evening and weekend call coverage required.

What You'll Do

• Deliver anesthesia care for cardiac and vascular surgical cases at a Tolleson, AZ facility
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as an integral part of perioperative management
• Maintain 100% direct, hands-on involvement throughout all assigned cases
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotations in addition to standard weekday hours
• Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology with demonstrated cardiac and vascular anesthesia experience
• Active TEE certification — required, not preferred
• Proven competency in vascular and cardiac anesthesia techniques
• Current hospital privileges or the ability to obtain them prior to the assignment start
• Comfort operating as the primary anesthesia provider in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR setting
• Flexibility to cover evening and weekend call as part of a full-time locum schedule
