About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential aerospace and defense organization seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead their applied AI and data integration initiatives. This is a leadership role focused on distributed data management solutions for challenging operational environments. An active Security Clearance is required for this position.

This role is based in Fort Worth, Texas and offers the opportunity to lead cutting-edge work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data systems, and mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team focused on applied AI and mission integration
• Drive development of data distribution and management solutions for bandwidth-constrained and contested environments
• Oversee machine learning engineering projects that support critical operational requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and mission domains
• Guide architecture decisions for data platforms and AI capabilities
• Ensure delivery of solutions that meet stringent security and performance standards
• Mentor and develop engineering talent within your team

What We're Looking For

• Active Security Clearance (required)
• Leadership experience managing machine learning or data engineering teams
• Strong background in AI/ML engineering and deployment
• Experience with distributed data systems and edge computing environments
• Understanding of data management challenges in resource-constrained settings
• Proven track record delivering technical solutions in complex organizations
• L5 or equivalent management level experience
• Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, Texas
