Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust comprehensive league schedules and calendars that balance participant availability and facility use
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all team captains, individual registrants, and related stakeholders, responding promptly to questions and updates
• Oversee registration processes, waitlists, and onboarding steps so every participant has accurate information before activities begin
• Monitor league progress, record results or standings as required, and communicate weekly updates in a clear, consistent manner
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, rule clarifications, or interpersonal issues fairly and quickly to maintain a positive atmosphere
• Prepare and share pre-season and mid-season guidelines so everyone understands expectations and procedures

Who We're Looking For

• Proven ability to organize multi-team or multi-group calendars and keep many moving pieces aligned
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that keep diverse audiences informed and motivated
• Prior experience in a convenor, coordinator, or event-support capacity, preferably involving recreational or community programs
• Comfort making timely decisions, adapting plans, and remaining calm under shifting priorities
• Reliable, self-directed work habits balanced with genuine team orientation
• Attention to detail when handling lists, rosters, and simple record-keeping tasks
• Willingness to work full time on site in Sudbury, ON and to be present for evening or weekend league touchpoints when required
