Role Overview

As Assistant Manager II at Dollartree in IL-Berwyn, you'll share operational responsibility for all store functions alongside the Store Manager. You'll oversee daily sales floor activities, manage inventory accuracy, and maintain the high standards of customer service that define Dollartree. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store associates during assigned shifts, ensuring consistent execution of store policies and procedures
• Manage inventory operations, including receiving, stocking, counts, and loss prevention initiatives
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet store revenue goals
• Train, schedule, and support team members; address performance issues and recognize top performers
• Maintain store facilities, displays, and visual standards throughout the sales floor
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols
• Collaborate with Store Manager on hiring, staffing decisions, and budget management

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of retail or retail management experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
