Merchandising Assistant Manager

We're looking for a Merchandising Assistant Manager to join our Dollartree store in NE-Omaha. This is a full-time opportunity to lead our merchandise operations and help drive the shopping experience that makes Dollartree a trusted destination for value-conscious customers.

What This Role Involves

As a Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollartree, you'll oversee the visual presentation and organization of our product floor, working directly with store management to execute merchandising strategies that maximize customer engagement and sales. You'll combine hands-on execution with team leadership, ensuring our merchandise displays meet company standards while mentoring floor team members in proper stocking and presentation techniques.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise merchandise display setup, seasonal resets, and promotional campaigns across the store
• Train and guide team members on merchandising best practices, compliance standards, and customer service excellence
• Manage inventory accuracy, product placement, and compliance with Dollartree merchandising guidelines
• Collaborate with store management to analyze sales performance and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
• Maintain the appearance and organization of sales floors, back stock areas, and merchandise displays
• Support store operations during peak seasons and promotional events
• Address customer inquiries and resolve product-related concerns

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• 1+ years of experience in retail merchandising, visual display, or a related field
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and move merchandise regularly as part of daily duties
