About the Role

As an Assistant Manager I at Dollartree, you'll support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and maintaining our high standards for store cleanliness, merchandising, and customer service. This role offers direct involvement in team leadership, inventory management, and store-level decision-making within a fast-paced retail environment. You'll gain exposure to multiple facets of retail management while building expertise in a growing organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor store associates, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and follow company standards
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and merchandising to maintain a well-organized, visually appealing store floor
• Support cash handling procedures, loss prevention efforts, and compliance with company policies
• Monitor store performance metrics and assist with initiatives to meet sales targets
• Open or close the store as assigned, maintaining facility security and cleanliness standards
• Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues with professionalism and urgency

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail or supervisory experience, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment
