Mindrift
Mindrift is seeking a Compliance Analyst specializing in AI model training and evaluation to join our part-time, freelance team in Brazil. This position involves project-based work focused on testing and enhancing artificial intelligence systems for leading technology companies worldwide.
About the Role
As a Compliance Analyst in this freelance AI training opportunity, you'll work on discrete projects that assess and improve how AI systems handle regulatory requirements. This is not a permanent position—instead, you'll engage in flexible, project-based assignments that align with your availability and expertise. Projects typically run 10–20 hours per week during active phases, and you can earn up to $50 per hour based on your experience level and contribution pace.
Your Responsibilities
- Evaluate compliance scenarios: review regulatory artifacts like policies, disclosures, and promotional materials against specific legal requirements, identifying applicable regulations with precise subsection citations
- Develop sanctions and alert protocols: create structured case documentation demonstrating false-positive reasoning and appropriate escalation pathways
- Design and execute compliance test cases: define sampling strategies, build test scenarios, document findings, and prepare examiner-ready summaries
- Identify policy gaps: highlight areas where organizational policies lack guidance, contradict regulatory standards, or require updating due to recent regulatory changes
- Maintain citation accuracy: verify all regulatory references are specific, documented, and defensible—never estimated or generated without verified source material
Who We're Looking For
- Educational background in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years in roles such as compliance, audit, legal counsel, risk management, or financial services
- Demonstrated expertise in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related financial crimes domains
- Rigorous citation practice: you identify exact regulatory subsections and communicate uncertainty rather than approximating
- Professional credentials like CRCM, CAMS, or equivalent local certifications (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience as a regulatory examiner or inspector (highly valued)
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level minimum); submit your CV in English and note your English ability
Why Join Mindrift
Mindrift connects specialized compliance professionals with meaningful global AI improvement projects. You'll leverage your regulatory expertise to enhance how artificial intelligence systems interpret and apply compliance frameworks. Enjoy the autonomy and flexibility of freelance work on projects that directly impact AI quality and regulatory alignment across leading technology organizations.
