Service Colleague (Food Services)

Asda is recruiting a full-time Service Colleague (Food Services) to join our team at FS - 1496 Hellingly Greggs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards in our food preparation and retail environment.

Position Summary

As a Service Colleague in our Food Services department, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive quality food and exceptional service every time they visit. Based at our Hellingly store, you'll work across food preparation, serving, and customer interaction, supporting our commitment to freshness, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position offering stability and the chance to develop your skills within a leading UK retailer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food items to Asda's quality standards and customer preferences
• Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and answering questions about our food offerings
• Maintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standards, following all company and regulatory procedures
• Keep the food service counter and preparation areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout your shift
• Support stock rotation and inventory checks to minimise waste
• Work collaboratively with team members to manage busy periods and meet daily targets
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate till systems as required
