Position Summary

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Asda Home Shopping in Leeds, you'll operate a delivery vehicle to bring fresh groceries, household goods, and general merchandise to customers' homes. This is a full-time role where reliability, customer service skills, and safe driving are essential. You'll represent Asda directly with every delivery, managing customer interactions professionally whilst maintaining vehicle standards and delivery schedules.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to residential addresses within designated Leeds routes, prioritising safety and timeliness
• Sort, load, and organise packages and grocery items efficiently to maximise vehicle space and protect contents in transit
• Navigate routes using provided systems and local knowledge to meet scheduled delivery windows
• Interact professionally with customers, handle deliveries with care, and resolve basic queries or concerns
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, report maintenance issues promptly, and conduct pre-route safety checks
• Record deliveries accurately, obtain signatures or confirmations where required, and report completion data
• Collect payment or process contactless transactions when applicable

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of two years, with a clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently whilst meeting targets
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly manner
• Physical fitness for regular lifting, loading, and unloading of deliveries
• Familiarity with the Leeds area or willingness to learn local routes
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
