Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Loader for our 2nd shift team at our Peachtree City, GA facility. This full-time position is essential to our supply chain operations, where you'll help ensure building materials reach customers reliably and on schedule.
The Opportunity
Join our fast-paced distribution center and become part of a team that keeps the construction industry moving. As a Shipping Loader on the 2nd shift, you'll take on a key role in our logistics operations. This position offers stable, full-time employment with a focus on efficiency, safety, and teamwork. You'll develop valuable skills in warehouse operations while working with a dedicated team in a structured, supportive environment.
Core Duties
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers with accuracy and efficiency
- Organize, sort, and arrange materials to maximize workflow and safety
- Read and verify shipping labels, delivery documentation, and product specifications
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and staging zones
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
- Meet daily production targets and shipping schedules
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate shipments and resolve issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Physical stamina to work an active 2nd shift schedule
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic reading and math skills
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow procedures
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus
