Jobgether is seeking a full-time Information Services Consultant to support organizations across the United States in modernizing their information governance and records management practices. About This Position

Organizations today face complex challenges in managing information assets across their lifecycles. As an Information Services Consultant, you'll work with our partner company to help enterprises strengthen their data stewardship, reduce compliance risk, and build scalable information management operations. This role combines strategic guidance with hands-on implementation, making you a trusted advisor to leadership teams navigating digital transformation in records and information governance.

Core Duties

• Design and deploy structured classification frameworks that organize information logically and support business processes
• Develop and implement retention strategies aligned with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Build compliant recordkeeping processes that minimize risk and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with business leaders, legal teams, privacy specialists, auditors, and risk professionals to align governance across functions
• Partner with technology teams to transition organizations from legacy records practices toward modern, scalable information management systems
• Assess current information governance maturity and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in information governance, records management, or related enterprise information practices
• Experience designing classification systems, retention schedules, or information lifecycle management processes
• Strong ability to communicate complex governance concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management in information management
• Proven capability to work collaboratively across functions and lead change initiatives
• Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment with self-directed project execution
