Onsite Technician (Large Home Appliances)

PRISM+ is hiring an Onsite Technician (Large Home Appliances) for our operations in Singapore. This full-time position is based on-site in Singapore, where you'll deliver expert technical service directly to customers' homes.

Position Summary

As an Onsite Technician specialising in large home appliances, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers requiring installation, maintenance, and repair services. You'll combine solid technical expertise with customer-focused service delivery to ensure every appliance operates safely and performs reliably. This role is central to PRISM+'s commitment to superior product support and lasting customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Install and configure large home appliances at customer premises in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose appliance faults using appropriate testing equipment and methodical troubleshooting techniques
• Execute maintenance and repair work to restore appliances to full operational condition
• Explain technical findings to customers and provide clear guidance on proper appliance operation and care
• Record all service visits, repairs completed, and components replaced in company systems
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with all relevant workplace health and safety requirements
• Represent PRISM+ professionally and foster positive customer relationships during every service interaction

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification or certification in appliance repair, electrical installation, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience working as an onsite technician or in appliance servicing roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven capacity to troubleshoot complex faults
• Valid driving licence and dependable transport to service multiple customer locations
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical matters to non-technical customers
• Physical capability to safely handle and position heavy appliances in domestic settings
• Dedication to maintaining rigorous safety standards and adhering to company protocols
