Senior Aircon Servicing Technician

PRISM+ is seeking a Senior Aircon Servicing Technician to join our team in Singapore. In this hands-on role, you'll lead technical service operations, mentor junior technicians, and deliver expert air conditioning solutions to our clients across the region.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Aircon Servicing Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential air conditioning systems to the highest standards. You'll take ownership of complex service calls, oversee system installations, and ensure all work meets safety and quality requirements. Your technical expertise and customer-facing skills will be critical as you handle both preventive maintenance contracts and emergency repairs, whilst supporting the growth and development of our technical team.

Core Duties

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair air conditioning units, compressors, and refrigeration components
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system health checks to prevent breakdowns
• Install new air conditioning systems and conduct commissioning tests
• Handle, recover, and recycle refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations
• Document all service work with detailed reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Mentor and supervise junior technicians on-site
• Manage customer relationships and communicate technical findings clearly

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an air conditioning technician, with at least 5 years in servicing and maintenance
• Valid air conditioning service certification or equivalent technical qualification
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Competency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Sound understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Ability to work independently and lead team members
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Physical fitness to lift heavy components and work in confined spaces
