System & Network Administrator

Prime System Solutions in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan is recruiting a skilled System & Network Administrator for a full-time position based onsite. In this role, you will take ownership of our IT infrastructure, ensuring networks operate securely, reliably, and efficiently across the organisation.

About the Role

As System & Network Administrator, you will be the backbone of our technical operations. Your responsibilities will span managing our computing systems, network infrastructure, and user technology support. You'll work to maintain high system availability, implement security best practices, and support our organisation's digital operations from our office in Lahore.

Core Duties

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure
• Monitor system performance, diagnose network issues, and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime
• Design and maintain security protocols, access controls, and automated backup systems
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and IT resource provisioning
• Apply system patches, updates, and security fixes in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed technical documentation of systems and network architecture
• Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users
• Plan infrastructure upgrades and implement technology improvements
• Conduct routine health checks and capacity planning for IT assets

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar technical role
• Proficiency with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
• Strong practical knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and network design
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls, switches, and routing equipment
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools, backup solutions, and disaster recovery
• Solid understanding of IT security fundamentals and compliance requirements
• Capable of troubleshooting complex technical problems independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes clearly
