About the Role

As our Senior Systems & Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network and systems infrastructure that supports business continuity and growth. This L3 position sits at the technical leadership level, where you'll make strategic decisions about architecture, capacity planning, and technology adoption. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into resilient, secure technical solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise-grade network architectures, including routing, switching, and security appliances
• Oversee systems administration across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
• Conduct performance diagnostics and capacity planning to anticipate infrastructure needs
• Lead troubleshooting of complex, multi-layered infrastructure incidents and coordinate resolution across teams
• Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and technical standards to build institutional knowledge
• Mentor mid-level engineers and conduct technical reviews of their work
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their fit for organizational needs

What You Bring

• 7+ years of professional experience in systems administration or network engineering
• Deep expertise in network protocols, security concepts, and infrastructure design patterns
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and hybrid network architectures
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation frameworks
• Strong command of Linux/Unix system administration and scripting
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of leading projects from conception through production deployment
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, RHCE, or equivalent) are valued
