Lead Analyst, Geospatial Data

Prime System Solutions is seeking a Lead Analyst, Geospatial Data to join our team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. In this full-time role, you'll lead analytical initiatives using geospatial tools and data science to drive strategic business decisions and operational excellence.

What This Role Involves

As Lead Analyst, Geospatial Data, you will direct the collection, processing, and interpretation of geospatial datasets to uncover insights that shape organisational strategy. You'll oversee the design and implementation of geographic information systems projects, manage workflows across analytical teams, and ensure data quality standards are maintained throughout enterprise systems. This position requires both technical depth—proficiency in spatial analysis, mapping technologies, and geospatial databases—and leadership capability to mentor junior analysts and communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Lead geospatial data acquisition, validation, and integration from multiple sources into centralised systems
• Design and execute spatial analysis projects addressing business objectives in urban planning, infrastructure, or resource management
• Develop automated workflows and analytical models to increase efficiency and reduce manual processing
• Mentor and supervise junior analysts; establish best practices for geospatial methodology across the team
• Present analytical findings and recommendations through maps, dashboards, and technical reports to senior management
• Stay current with geospatial technology advances and evaluate new tools for organisational adoption
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards in all geospatial projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Geology, Environmental Science, or related quantitative discipline; equivalent professional experience considered
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis tools
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent GIS platforms; familiarity with remote sensing and satellite data interpretation
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or teams in an analytical or data-driven environment
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to translate technical analysis for diverse audiences
