About This Position

In this Business Development Representative role, you'll be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities that fuel Premium Merchant Funding's expansion in the Montreal market. You'll engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, and present solutions that create genuine value. This position combines strategic prospecting with relationship-building to establish a strong pipeline of qualified leads.

Your Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective clients within your territory and industry verticals
• Conduct outreach via phone, email, and video meetings to qualify opportunities
• Deliver product demonstrations and present Premium Merchant Funding's solutions to key decision-makers
• Develop and present customised proposals that address client requirements
• Maintain and advance opportunities through our sales pipeline using CRM tools
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs and deal closure
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets and activity metrics

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success in a business development, sales, or account development role
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong presence in client conversations
• Proven ability to close or advance deals and meet sales targets consistently
• Comfort with CRM platforms and sales technology
• Strategic thinker who understands the sales process from prospecting through close
• Collaborative team player with strong work ethic and drive
• Familiarity with the Montreal, Quebec market or merchant services industry is valued
