About This Position

This full-time caregiving role with Phoenix Home Care and Hospice involves direct care and assistance to clients throughout the Warrensburg area. You'll provide hands-on support that improves quality of life for individuals and families in our community, whether assisting with daily activities or offering compassionate companionship during important moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Provide mobility assistance and safe movement support throughout the home
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health status to supervisors
• Follow individualized care plans while respecting client dignity and privacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Physical ability to assist, lift, and safely transfer clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
