About This Position
This role involves strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for CIMMYT's Asia operations. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and support decision-making processes. The position is full-time, on-site in New Delhi.
What You'll Do
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and manage budgets for regional operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for financial planning.
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management.
Who We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in an international development or agriculture setting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in using financial software and tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis tools.
- A deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the Asian region.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Hindi or other local languages is a plus.
