Bosch Group is seeking an IT Application Owner and Services SME for its Pune office. This is a full-time position where you'll take ownership of critical applications and services, providing expert technical guidance to ensure operational excellence across the business.

About the Role

As an Application Owner and IT Services Subject Matter Expert at Bosch Group, you'll drive the management and optimisation of key systems and platforms. You'll combine technical expertise with strategic oversight, ensuring applications perform reliably whilst adapting to evolving business needs. Your role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders, making you instrumental to how Bosch delivers IT services globally.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the lifecycle of assigned applications and IT services
• Serve as the primary escalation point and technical expert for your service portfolio
• Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Drive performance optimisation and continuous improvement of systems
• Lead incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Establish and maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories
• Guide and mentor technical teams on application-specific practices and standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record managing applications and IT services in production environments
• Strong technical depth with hands-on problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills across technical and business levels
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project coordination
• Knowledge of IT service management practices and ITIL principles
• Analytical approach to identifying improvements and optimising processes
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are advantageous
