The Opportunity

This is a leadership role focused on advancing Stryker's sustainability-focused surgical solutions through strategic marketing excellence. You'll own the complete marketing strategy—from conception through execution—for a key business unit. Expect to shape product positioning, influence cross-functional teams, and make decisions that impact divisional performance. The role involves up to 30% travel to support trade shows and customer engagement activities throughout the year, with travel volume varying by season.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals and financial performance
• Analyze competitive positioning and translate market insights into actionable strategic direction
• Author strategic documents including marketing plans, product launch roadmaps, and business assessments
• Establish pricing frameworks and segmentation approaches to optimize commercial outcomes
• Set performance metrics, targets, and success milestones for marketing initiatives
• Oversee demand planning and forecasting informed by market dynamics and product factors
• Build and mentor direct report(s), fostering collaboration across business functions
• Cultivate relationships with industry experts and thought leaders to inform future strategy
• Monitor market performance and adjust tactics to maximize customer engagement and ROI

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including healthcare or medical device exposure
• Demonstrated expertise in product management and creating marketing or commercial plans
• Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to develop quantitative and qualitative insights
• Experience working in healthcare systems, operating room environments, or medical device sectors
• Preferred qualifications: MBA, previous medical device sales or marketing background, change management experience
