About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital solutions provider in Hamburg for a Senior Sales Manager role focused on the education administration sector. Our client develops public-sector technology solutions with societal impact. This position offers significant autonomy in managing strategic accounts and developing go-to-market strategies for education clients across Germany. Part-time arrangements are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within state-level education administration and manage key accounts in the education sector
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the education vertical, actively generating new projects and business themes
• Prepare proposals and presentations in close collaboration with bid management and delivery teams
• Own pricing decisions, quality management across proposals, and lead interdisciplinary bid teams
• Contribute to the management and expansion of large framework contracts
• Support and develop sales and marketing campaigns targeting education clients

What We're Looking For

• Deep passion and enthusiasm for digitalization and transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of education administration themes, challenges, and customer groups
• Extensive experience in sales, consulting, or agency environments with proven public sector exposure
• High IT affinity and genuine interest in emerging technologies
• Confident presence with a strong sense of initiative and self-direction
• Excellent communication skills and intuition for understanding customer needs
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement
• Existing network within federal education administration is a strong plus
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken
