Founders Associate (German-speaking)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential early-stage software company in Munich that is experiencing rapid growth. Our client has achieved significant ARR traction and recently secured institutional funding from top-tier investors. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, high-performing team as a Founders Associate and work directly with leadership on the most critical growth initiatives.

This is a high-ownership generalist role for someone who wants to learn quickly, take responsibility early, and help build an ambitious company from the ground up. You will work across different functional areas rather than joining a narrowly defined department.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the founding team on problems and opportunities critical to company growth
• Support go-to-market efforts including pipeline generation, sales materials creation, webinar execution, and customer conversations
• Assist with customer onboarding and product adoption, joining customer calls and synthesizing feedback for the product team
• Define hiring needs, improve recruiting processes, and conduct hands-on recruiting activities
• Build operational foundations by organizing team events, improving internal processes, and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Support stakeholder management and investor relations, including preparation of board-level presentations, reports, and analyses

What We're Looking For

• Fluent German required; English working proficiency essential
• Previous experience or internships in startup, VC, sales, consulting, banking, or other demanding environments
• High-potential generalist with strong execution ability
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and resilient mindset—comfortable getting your hands dirty
• Bias toward speed and results; prefer action over prolonged discussion
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to get to the point
• Comfortable working with numbers and operational details
• Curiosity about technical products and understanding how customers work
• Self-motivated, high-energy team player seeking impact and ownership at an early-stage company
• Ability to work 4 days per week in the Munich office (Meta Office, Balanstraße)
• Prior experience in manufacturing is a bonus
