About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential professional services organization in München that is building the leading platform for mid-market advisory in Germany. Our client is owner-managed, works with thousands of mid-sized companies, and is expanding through organic growth and acquisitions. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with executive leadership on the decisions that shape the business—not in a corporate strategy department producing slides, but at the table where choices are made under pressure, with incomplete information, and real consequences.
You will report directly to managing partners and work across all areas: advisory operations, corporate development, finance, and internal systems. This role has two entry points: a 3–6 month internship during studies or gap year, or direct full-time entry after graduation. The scope is identical; the difference is horizon. Interns own one to two projects; full-time hires own an entire domain. Strong intern performance leads to a full-time offer—that is the explicit purpose of this path.
The natural development trajectory leads to owning an entire business unit within 24–36 months.
Responsibilities
Analysis and Decision Support
- Take an open question from leadership, structure it, and deliver a two-page recommendation with your own assessment—not a data dump, but a foundation for decision
- Build analyses from internal data: office-level results, client structures, utilization, growth drivers; you pull the data yourself and document your assumptions
- Pressure-test assumptions treated as fact inside the organization; part of this work is stating plainly when something is no longer true
End-to-End Project Ownership
- Own projects from question to outcome and present results yourself—to the executive team, not through intermediaries
- Contribute to live initiatives across the business: integrating an acquired office, launching a new advisory line, rolling out a tool across all locations
- Document so someone else can continue after you; what exists only in your head is not delivered
Internal Operations, Culture, and Company Building
- Build the formats through which the business is steered—reporting flows, KPIs, decision templates, internal communications; what you build once runs in every office afterward
- Own the events where culture becomes concrete: town halls, summer gatherings, end-of-year events, off-sites, office meetings; you decide what an event should convey and how it runs; execution is supported by colleagues who handle event logistics
- Contribute to recruiting: candidate review, your own assessment, development of hiring process formats
- Bring in your own observations; hierarchy applies to decisions, not communication—if you see something, you say it, regardless of tenure
What You Will Have Delivered
- After 3 months: Owned two projects from question to result and presented them yourself; written multiple decision memos that led to actual decisions; know the offices, the numbers, and the people—not from documents, but because you were there
- After 6 months: Own a defined domain where leadership no longer follows up; department heads come to you directly for analysis; have owned at least one internal event or taken responsibility for a recurring internal format; pushed through at least one of your own proposals, against initial resistance
- After 12 months: Built technical depth in one area where you are the internal go-to; guide interns and junior hires and make hiring assessments alongside leadership
What We're Looking For
Background and Track Record
- Exceptional academic performance in business, engineering, law, natural sciences, or another field where you demonstrably stood out
- Initial practice in a demanding environment: consulting, investment banking, private equity, a scale-up, a chief of staff role, or your own venture
- Documented evidence that you outperform your peer group: top grades, a publication, an initiative you shaped, a project you led
- German and English fluency suitable for client and investor materials
- Profiles that do not fit the standard grid but bring intellectual sharpness and execution strength are explicitly invited—we evaluate on contribution, not credential
Skills and Working Style
- Write clearly and concisely; two strong pages beat twenty comprehensive ones
- Work with AI as a standard tool: research, analysis, drafting, pattern recognition in operational data; repetitive tasks are a prompt to automate, not fate
- When given an open-ended brief, make your assumptions explicit, choose a direction, adjust as you go; if you stop without instruction, this is not the right fit
- Manage multiple streams in parallel without dropping any—and signal early if one is at risk
Mindset and Character
- Tolerate direct work for the executive team—fast iteration, high autonomy, and some tasks that will not shine on a CV
- Take critique as development material, not personal attack
- Bring the humility to learn from practitioners; the tax advisor with 20 years of experience knows things about her client that no model captures
- Hold yourself to the highest standard in everything you deliver—not because someone checks, but because mediocrity personally bothers you
What You Will Not Find
- No corporate strategy department producing slides for others; what you write informs a decision this week
- No ivory tower; you work as a problem-solver, not a concept producer; a recommendation without implementation ownership is not a delivery
- No trainee rotation program; you receive domains of responsibility, not a rotation plan—and the consequences of your decisions
- No "someday you can work independently"; from day one: you do, you own, you are corrected when necessary—but you do not wait
- No corporate ladder where you wait for promotions; growth here is driven by contribution, not tenure
How We Work with You
Candidates apply directly through Get A Job.ai. Our recruiter will screen your profile and conduct an initial conversation. If there is a strong match, we submit you to our client. The client typically runs a lean, fast process: a written exercise (AI allowed, with self-disclosure), a 30-minute conversation, a working session on a real problem, and an on-site visit with the team and a shared meal. For internships, the on-site is often condensed; for senior roles, an additional working afternoon may be added. You will hear back within 48 hours after each step. A brief exploratory call with our team is available before you apply.
Do not contact the client directly. All communication and submission flows through Get A Job.ai. Our talent team manages the process from application through offer negotiation.
Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai:
- Full-time entry (Berufseinstieg): €55,000 – €66,000 base + €11,000 – €13,200 performance bonus

Compensation bands are intentionally broad and reflect profile, not negotiation. Bonus is awarded quarterly based on qualitative performance review; expected payout at solid performance is approximately 50% of maximum. The role includes additional benefits: 28 days holiday, 100% childcare coverage, professional exam support (€25K budget + 3 months release), EGYM Wellpass, company pension, 90% public transit subsidy, home office equipment, device of choice from catalog, one book per month from internal canon, and AI tools without token or budget limits.
