About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology client based in Nürnberg. This fast-growing organization is building intelligent solutions for industrial operations, and they need an experienced AI Developer to scale their platform and drive technical innovation.

You'll work on production-grade machine learning systems, focusing on computer vision, document processing, and complex data architectures. This is a hands-on role where you'll make meaningful technical decisions and own critical parts of the AI pipeline from day one.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of the entire AI pipeline
• Develop and improve production-grade software systems
• Make architecture and design decisions collaboratively, ensuring clean and future-proof technical solutions
• Design, train, and integrate machine learning models into production applications (APIs, pipelines, and services)
• Work on computer vision applications including document processing, image analysis, layout understanding, and OCR-related challenges
• Build and optimize graph neural networks for complex structural data
• Evaluate modern machine learning approaches (classical ML, deep learning, multimodal foundation models) and apply them pragmatically
• Collaborate closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI solutions

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Mathematics, or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer with hands-on delivery of complex software projects
• Very strong Python development skills (C++ is a plus)
• Deep and broad knowledge of machine learning with practical experience in ML models and algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning)
• Experience in computer vision or eagerness to deepen expertise in this area, with solid understanding of multimodal approaches (text + image)
• Ideally, experience with OCR, document processing, or layout analysis
• Ability to solve complex technical challenges in a structured way and integrate solutions into production environments
• Motivated, structured approach with strong ownership and reliable delivery
• Team player with open, clear, and solution-oriented communication style
• Very good German and English skills
