About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential adtech organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their in-app ad delivery team in London. This is a technical leadership role working across client-side and server-side engineering on systems that handle billions of ad requests at scale.
As a Get A Job.ai partner, we're seeking engineers who want to drive innovation in mobile advertising technology while working with modern cloud infrastructure and diverse technology stacks.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key in-app initiatives and deliver against the product roadmap, driving projects across the engineering organization
- Build and launch net-new in-app integrations to maximize revenue, iterating on ad delivery, measurement, and management systems
- Establish stable engineering ownership for in-app ad delivery, building redundancy and technical depth for sustainable development and support
- Improve reliability and maintainability of in-app and video ad delivery systems, identifying and resolving technical debt and operational risks
- Provide dedicated engineering support for online video capabilities, ensuring clear ownership of maintenance and feature development
- Strengthen knowledge sharing and documentation across the stack to improve team supportability
- Collaborate across the full development lifecycle from ideation to delivery of high-quality capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading teams and initiatives
- Background developing client-side and server-side solutions in adtech environments
- Strong command of modern programming languages (the client uses Golang, JavaScript/NodeJS, PHP, and Python)
- Proficiency with AI tools and workflows, plus solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle including QA and deployment
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver against evolving requirements
- Experience querying large datasets to understand trends, optimize delivery, and troubleshoot issues
- Comfortable with pair programming, code reviews, and collaborative development practices
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Apache Airflow, and Dockerized Kubernetes environments is a plus
