Praktikant Business Building & AI Automation (m/w/d) – Digital Education mit Impact

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital education organization based in Berlin that is transforming how professional qualifications are delivered in Germany. Our talent team is seeking a Business Building & AI Automation intern to join their venture-building function and help scale internal systems through automation, data infrastructure, and AI-powered tools.

This is a hands-on builder role within a fast-growing organization. You'll work directly with the leadership team to design and implement internal tools, automate operational processes, and build the data foundation that drives decision-making across marketing, sales, and operations. This is not a pure strategy or analysis position—you'll be building, deploying, and measuring real systems that go live.

Responsibilities

• Process intelligence and automation: Analyze workflows across marketing, sales, operations, and training delivery; identify high-impact automation opportunities based on frequency, effort, and business value; implement solutions that reduce manual work
• Internal tool development: Build rapid prototypes and production-ready internal applications using AI agents, no-code platforms, and workflow automation tools; handle rollout, documentation, and team onboarding
• AI workflow implementation: Move AI use cases from prototype to production—automating lead prioritization, conversation analysis, risk assessment, and operational tasks
• Data integration and KPI development: Consolidate data from multiple systems, define metrics across the growth funnel (lead generation through enrollment), and create reporting infrastructure for management decisions
• Build-vs-buy evaluation: Assess new tools and frameworks based on cost, scalability, and business fit; provide recommendations on whether to build in-house or purchase external solutions
• Business modeling support: Develop data foundations and unit economics analyses for new business models and investment decisions

What We're Looking For

• Builder mindset: You see broken processes and build better solutions—demonstrated through previous projects (automation flows, GPTs, dashboards, side projects)
• Commercial and analytical thinking: You think in terms of costs, benefits, numbers, and data-driven outcomes
• Tool proficiency: Comfortable with CRM systems, digital tools, and automation platforms
• Hands-on approach: You prefer shipping a working first version over perfecting theory
• AI-native skills: You use AI as a practical tool, not just experimentation
• Academic background: Currently studying or recently completed studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Digital Business, or related fields
• Portfolio over credentials: Show us something you've built—we value demonstrated capability over formal technical degrees
