About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Team Leader for IT Infrastructure based in Karlsruhe. This is a leadership role responsible for guiding a technical team, shaping enterprise architecture strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across global IT systems. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Infrastructure team through both disciplinary and technical guidance
• Drive strategic development of technical architecture within an enterprise environment
• Analyze and evaluate change requests within the global application architecture
• Participate actively in the team's daily operational activities
• Plan medium- and long-term personnel needs including capacity, skills development, and career progression
• Monitor quality standards in application operations and continuously improve operational processes
• Ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure systems
• Lead and manage national and international projects

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Leadership experience in an IT environment is advantageous
• Strong understanding of IT processes; ITIL certification preferred
• Goal-oriented and structured working style with high analytical capability
• Personal accountability, team spirit, flexibility, and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
