The Opportunity
Zurich NA is seeking a strategic human resources leader to serve as a trusted business partner across the organization. In this role, you'll advise senior leadership on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent initiatives that directly impact business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR consultation to business leaders, translating organizational objectives into effective people strategies
- Lead employee relations initiatives, including performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational change
- Develop and implement talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies aligned with business priorities
- Partner with HR and compliance teams to ensure adherence to employment legislation and organizational policies
- Drive organizational effectiveness projects, including restructuring, capability building, and cultural initiatives
- Monitor workforce metrics, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize organizational performance
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in strategic human resources business partnering at a senior level
- Deep knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance in Ontario and Canada
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial and operational drivers
- Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption across complex environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Professional HR certification (such as CHRP, CCPA, or SHRM-CP) is preferred
