The Opportunity
Zurich NA is seeking a strategic human resources leader to serve as a trusted business partner across the organization. In this role, you'll advise senior leadership on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent initiatives that directly impact business outcomes. This is an opportunity to work within a values-driven culture that prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and employee development, while helping to build and sustain high-performing teams across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR consultation to business leaders, translating organizational objectives into effective people strategies
- Lead employee relations initiatives, including performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational change
- Develop and implement talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies aligned with business priorities
- Partner with HR and compliance teams to ensure adherence to employment legislation and organizational policies
- Drive organizational effectiveness projects, including restructuring, capability building, and cultural initiatives
- Monitor workforce metrics, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize organizational performance
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in strategic human resources business partnering at a senior level
- Deep knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance in Ontario and Canada
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial and operational drivers
- Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption across complex environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Professional HR certification (such as CHRP, CCPA, or SHRM-CP) is preferred
