About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential personal injury law firm with a national presence. We are seeking a Virtual Staff Lawyer (Bilingual) to join their pre-litigation department on a full-time, remote basis. This role offers diverse day-to-day responsibilities and significant opportunities for professional development in U.S. personal injury practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the pre-litigation department with varied legal tasks
- Set up claims and follow up on insurance coverage and policy limits
- Draft letters of representation and send welcome letters to clients
- Manage file documentation, ensuring clean and properly labeled client records
- Order police reports and request medical payment coverage
- Prepare disengagement letters to providers and clients using approved templates
- Order medical records and bills, and send medical referrals
- Generate disbursement sheets and maintain accurate case financials
- Send open records requests to police departments and non-spoliation letters
- Handle assigned caseload under attorney supervision
- Support attorney caseloads and manage client communication effectively
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Law graduate or current law student
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (Arabic is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong active listening and communication skills
- Ability to collect data and learn processes quickly
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Personal computer or laptop with reliable internet (wired connection recommended)
- Headset with noise cancellation and quiet workspace
Preferred:
- Experience with U.S. personal injury law
- Previous experience with U.S. legal firms
