Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead hands-on content creation and organic growth for an AI productivity platform. You will own the full lifecycle of product marketing content—from research and scripting through recording, editing, publishing, and performance analysis. This is a build-from-scratch opportunity where your work directly influences product discovery and adoption.
- Develop deep product knowledge: understand user personas (small and medium-sized businesses, solopreneurs, independent creators), core problems solved, competitive positioning, and genuine product advantages
- Define positioning and messaging that leads with user outcomes rather than feature lists, translating capabilities into clear, specific value propositions
- Own end-to-end content creation and publication including short-form demos, screen recordings, tutorials, comparisons, social posts, emails, and web copy—no reliance on agencies or production teams
- Use AI tools fluently across the entire content workflow: research, ideation, scripting, demo creation, editing, and rapid iteration
- Build a repeatable content and distribution engine from the ground up to support product-led growth strategy and business targets
- Plan and distribute platform-native content across X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, tailoring format and depth to each audience and funnel stage
- Identify and engage third-party platforms, software-review sites, benchmark leaderboards, and vertical communities to build credibility and drive trial signups
- Track performance using engagement quality, trial, subscription, and adoption metrics; iterate on product stories, content formats, and calls to action based on findings
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketing colleagues to maintain accuracy and move at product development pace
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, growth marketing, or social content with a focus on digital products (SaaS, AI tools, productivity platforms, creator products) or equivalent experience
- Strong product instincts: ability to identify critical user problems, recognize genuine differentiators, and craft product stories that are simple, specific, and credible for small and medium-sized business audiences, solopreneurs, and independent creators
- Hands-on fluency using AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, demo creation, video editing, and content iteration—practical comfort shipping work with these tools, not just familiarity
- Demonstrated ability to personally create and publish work end-to-end, including short-form product videos, screen-recorded demos, and social content for digital products
- Strong understanding of how audiences, content formats, and distribution dynamics differ across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn, with demonstrated depth on at least some platforms
- Track record of building from scratch: cold-starting a content channel, product launch, or distribution system and driving it through ambiguity without established processes; candidates who have built and grown their own relevant content channels with measurable results are encouraged to apply
- Experience at an AI-native, SaaS, productivity, or creator-product company is preferred but not required if work demonstrates the right instincts and execution ability
