Senior Fullstack Engineer – Custom Solutions

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join a newly established custom solutions team. In this role, you will own the complete development lifecycle of custom extensions and integrations that enhance our client's platform for their enterprise customers.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Owning custom solution development end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and release
• Partnering directly with customers, consultants, and internal teams to define use cases before development and validate solutions afterward
• Building across the full stack: customer-facing UI in React and TypeScript, backend services, and integrations with third-party APIs
• Mentoring mid-level engineers and establishing engineering standards and best practices for the growing team
• Working in a cross-functional, agile environment and delivering high-quality, well-tested code
• Participating actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
• Working iteratively with frequent code pushes, maintaining healthy CI/CD pipelines, and implementing automation where beneficial

The tech stack includes React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Kotlin, Go, Java, MongoDB, REST APIs and SDKs, Docker, Terraform, Selenium, and Cypress.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Typically 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience, including working within engineering teams and owning solutions from concept to delivery
• Strong frontend skills with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Solid backend experience with languages such as Kotlin, Java, or Node.js
• Proven experience working with REST APIs and SDKs, and integrating with external systems
• Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced developers and bringing structure to team workflows
• Comfort working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong focus on quality, clean code, testing, and continuous learning
• Fluent written and spoken English and German—both required, as you will work closely with German-speaking stakeholders and customers
• Self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively
• Understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusivity in the workplace

Nice to have:

• Experience with Go, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Background in professional services, consulting, or building custom, customer-facing solutions
• Knowledge of enterprise integration concepts such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, or SCIM
• Strong understanding of REST and microservices architecture
