Account Manager | Mid-Market

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Mid-Market team. Our client is building innovative financial infrastructure that serves thousands of businesses, and they need a strategic relationship builder to drive growth within their existing customer base.

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-value accounts, develop executive-level relationships, and directly influence the growth trajectory of a fast-moving organization. You'll be joining at a pivotal time as the Account Management function scales.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships across 150+ existing mid-market customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for retention and growth
• Develop multi-threaded relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers within your portfolio
• Drive revenue expansion through product adoption, upsells, and strategic account planning
• Lead Executive Business Reviews to identify growth opportunities and align on strategic initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Provide customer insights and feedback to inform product roadmap and communication strategies
• Monitor account health metrics and proactively address risks to retention

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 4 years of new business sales or account management experience in a B2B environment
• Proven ability to identify and execute on expansion opportunities within existing accounts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities
• Familiarity with CRM systems and common sales metrics
• High adaptability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Experience selling or managing accounts in financial services
• Background at a high-growth startup or technology company
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar productivity tools
