About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential legal technology organization in their search for a Solutions Engineer based in London. Our client is transforming how legal professionals work through AI-powered solutions that serve top-tier law firms and corporate legal departments globally.
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll serve as the technical bridge between our client's sales team and prospective customers. You'll lead technical discovery, design custom demonstrations, and guide clients through complex implementation discussions. This role offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated legal teams who demand excellence and precision in their technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer pain points, use cases, and technical requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that showcase solution value
- Facilitate technical workshops and proof-of-value sessions with prospective clients
- Respond to technical questions, security concerns, and RFI/RFP documentation throughout the sales cycle
- Act as a trusted technical advisor from initial engagement through contract negotiation
- Design scalable technical solutions based on customer needs and product capabilities
- Translate complex requirements into clear architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and proposal documentation
- Partner with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and communicate customer feedback
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to shape deal strategy and technical approach
- Develop technical sales content including demo scripts, battlecards, and case studies
- Ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales to implementation and customer success teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles, preferably B2B
- Proven track record delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience managing technical delivery discussions and responding to client technical questions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- French language proficiency is advantageous but not required
- This is a full-time, on-site position in London
