About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech platform in their search for an Investor Relations Associate. Our client operates a capital-raising network connecting founders with family offices and high-net-worth allocators. This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, offering early-career professionals the chance to build genuine investor relationships while learning mandate craft from a senior team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain your own book of family office and HNWI relationships, focusing on allocators who back US startups
• Support live capital-raising mandates by qualifying investors, preparing briefing materials, and managing follow-up communications
• Conduct outreach to new family offices and high-net-worth individuals, establishing first conversations and growing the network
• Maintain investor relationships between active deals, keeping allocators engaged and informed
• Shadow senior team members on investor calls and refine briefing standards through hands-on learning
• Leverage AI tooling to manage pipeline and preparation work efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Early-stage allocator network already in development through prior experience in wealth management, private banking, family office operations, placement, or independent relationship-building
• Demonstrable track record of opening investor relationships independently
• Clear methodology for identifying suitable investors, earning initial conversations, and maintaining valuable ongoing relationships
• Understanding of how family offices and HNWIs deploy capital, ideally including direct startup allocations
• Relationship style that prioritizes listening over pitching; you never waste an allocator's time
• Absolute discretion with confidential information regarding names, allocations, and private conversations
• Comfort working with AI tools to automate administrative tasks
• Availability for overlap with US Eastern time zone for several hours daily; not full US hours required

Work Environment
