About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing technology company in Munich that is scaling its finance operations to support global expansion. As a key member of their finance team, you'll ensure financial precision, compliance, and scalability while helping to build a highly efficient, automated, and modern accounting infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice verification, posting, and timely payment processing
- Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment monitoring, and dunning processes
- Conduct inventory counts of goods, particularly work-in-progress items, as a foundation for determining overall performance metrics
- Support all operational activities required by the Accounting Lead for monthly and annual financial statement preparation
- Reconcile open items and balance accounts in both payables and receivables
- Prepare documentation for tax advisors and auditors
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting Lead and contribute ideas for process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Completed commercial training (e.g., Bookkeeper, Tax Specialist, Industrial Clerk, or equivalent); further qualification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) is advantageous but not required
- Several years of professional experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
- Experience with inventory processes and stock valuation, ideally including work-in-progress items, is a plus
- Proficiency with standard accounting software or ERP systems, ideally DATEV, Odoo, Ramp, or MOSS
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Meticulous, reliable work approach and strong team spirit
