Technical Founders Associate (Intern)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure company based in Berlin that is building next-generation compute solutions for the European AI and machine learning market. They are seeking a Technical Founders Associate (Intern) to join their early-stage team and take on meaningful product ownership from day one.

This is not a traditional internship. You will sit at the intersection of customer feedback and engineering execution, directly influencing what gets built and shipped. You'll work closely with technical founders and engineering leads to shape product direction for a platform used by ML engineers across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews with ML engineers and synthesise customer feedback into actionable product insights
• Define and prioritise feature requirements in close collaboration with engineering leadership
• Write specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new product features
• Coordinate cross-functionally between engineering, go-to-market, and support teams to ensure smooth feature launches
• Analyse product usage data to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement
• Contribute directly to product decisions that shape the roadmap and development priorities

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Genuine curiosity about developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML technologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical engineers and business stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with comfort working with data, metrics, and structured thinking
• Bias toward action and shipping rather than just planning
• Prior internship or project experience in product management, engineering, or startup environments is a plus
